look who is coming to live with us:
no name yet, we need a 3 or 4 letter name, starting with "D"...and it has to be Russian. Any ideas?

OOOOOHH!!!!! I am so jealous!!!!! I have always wanted a Borzoi ever since I saw Legends of the Fall!!! :D I absolutely adore sighthounds. They have such a different nature from other dogs, somehow they are so easy to live with. My dog Patrick is a cross of two sighthounds, the woman I adopted him from thinks he is Deerhound and Borzoi. He is such a dream. :)

I don't have any name suggestions, but congratulation s, what an exciting time!!! You'll have to post loads of pictures because Borzoi pups are pretty much the most precious!!! :D :D :D

I just love borzoi's they are such an elegant breed.

I like the name Dina.  Means "power" or "faith"

3-4 letters is hard, esp with russian names b/c they tend to be on the longer end.

Okay, it doesn't start with D, but I also like Nada, it means "hope".  You could always change the letters around and get Dana.  ;)

It has to start with d because the litter is the "D" litter.  And the letters have to be only 3-5 because of the length of our names together for the registration, theirs is 9 and ours is 12 so we only have a few to play around with .  You can only have 30 characters in a registered name. For instance:
Windseeker Amy at Prairietrail is exactly 30 with the spaces.
