For the newbies, dober_gurl rescued two APBT pups, but couldn't keep them to foster. Dale and I picked them up, fostered the male (he had a home thru a rescue in a week) and adopted the little girl to my girlfriend who lives two blocks away from me. I had promised megan pictures of Arie-renamed Peanut, but wasn't able to come thru til now. I hope Megan can post before pictures, because the difference in one month is incredible! She is 5 months old, worm-free and up to 24#.
And here she is...Arie-Peanut!

OMG! She's beautiful, she looks absolutely wonderful, thank you again for taking her and thank them for giving her such a great home! I'll post before pics later.

She looks great! sending a big "YAY FOR PEANUT!" and a big slobbery kiss (from the boys  ;)) i must say she is very cute. are you sure she isn't a Staffordshire Bull Terrier? she has the small sturdy figure (but quite lady-like as well). just wondering  ??? ;)

I am not sure what exactly she is. I never saw the parents, and Megan saw the Mom, who was a black pit bull. Here is a picture of Hooch, her brother the male that we fostered for a week to compare.

The transformation is astounding. She's absolutely gorgeous...and looks so very happy and content.
