things turn out to be worse than ever!! We're looking for jobs so that we can move down south and be happy and then all of a sudden my resume is splattered all over the internet with nasty stuff inserted all over it! I used Monster and Career Builder and people took it and trashed it. Then my work called and told me they had been contacted by some "big dog person" who saw my info everywhere and wanted me to know about it. The final straw is when I had to call Monster to take down my stuff and was told by some guy who didn't even speak English that I was over-reacting. I am so mad!!!! >:( >:( >:(

Nope! I checked out the websites it was posted on but I couldn't find anything. ??? And I have no idea who did this. I think that the "big dog person" was a caller from either BPO or Tiny Tracks who was trying to save me. I dunno....the internet is great to you and terrible at the same time.

I second this sentiment definetly seek solice(sp) in Bear. He will be more comforting than any of us can even begin to be.
As for this person or persons, I only know you through what I have read over the few months Erin and I have been on the board. I can say through experience however that ones fur kids speak as much about one's charactor as anyone's skin kids ever could. With this in mind Bear speaks volumes as to the type of person you must be. Good luck with this and remember the people on this board will do what ever they can to help you and Michael, you both have given all of us this incredible resource. Tim

I don't understand why someone would go to the trouble to even do this. What would the point of it be? I'm sorry you are having to deal with this. It sounds like such a childish behavior.
I guess the only thing to do is get some comfort from Bear, and try to put this behind you. Don't let them know it got to you and move on.

Computers are a blessing and a curse!! I'm so sorry that this has happened; hopefully potential employers who would be looking at your resume on line realize that people can and do mess with other peoples property.

That small, insignificant person will NOT prevent you from the job you desire.... if anything it makes him/her look like a bitter, crazy, nut-case of a freak! :)

As for moving down south, I mean to southern California but we are looking into Chicago and NY too. At this point, anyw city but Fresno, CA sounds terrific. Michael, Bear and I are ready for some changes in our lives.

I vote for the Northeast ;D...Bear needs to be able to play in the snow. What type of jobs are you guys looking for? I can keep my ears open for anything technological if that's what you're intersted in. We'll watch Bear for you until you find a place here just put him on the next flight out!! ;D The New England Newf Pack would love the new addition.

I heard Bear wanted to move to Newfoundland. Lots of land available and cheap, very low crime, amazing weather (as in we can get sun, snow, rain, sleet with 130 kph winds all in one day).

Here is an update which Mari and the other So. Cal people will like...Michael had an awesome interview with a place in Malibu! The sand, beach and great weather. Yes Bear loves the snow but he also loves the ocean. So, who knows what the future holds but I am uber excited for my hubby!!@!

Much as I would personally love to meet Bear, Jamie and Michael, I wouldn't wish NYC on anyone! Besides, I'm still about 7-8 hrs away from NYC. Malibu sounds MUCH nicer so I hope you'll find somewhere beautiful to live with great places to walk Bear, great jobs and nice people.

Oh....the trails in the Malibu hills!!! Dog HEAVEN!! I took my Newfs up to walk there a few years ago and ran in to Ryan O'Neill (okay...that dates me....did any of you see "Love Story"? He was MUCH thinner then!!) He didn't talk to me but had an animated conversation with the dogs ::) ::) ::)

Ok...I'm lining up with AC here (we east coasters need to stick together). You folks can head to Newfoundland, and drop Bear off in Nova Scotia. The ferry ride might be a bit much for him so I'll just take care of him for you, k? Why would anyone want California when they can have the blustery, loverly east coast of Canada???? Beyond me. :D

I'll add my plea to Lins here ans say head Chicago-way. Why settle for monotonous CA when you can have the joys of Chicago weather, roast your butt off in summer and freeze it off in the winter.
