Why now?

Look at this picture of Grey with Smudge, why does he accept him now after he lives with my Mother? Why couldnt he be like this with him when he lived here with me? I cant take him back from my mother cause she has fallen so in love with Smudge. But why couldnt Grey be like this before hand  ???

why didn't that kid in 7th grade like me?  I actually had the chance to ask one of my jr. high bullies why they bullied me (years after the fact) and they simply said "I don't know."  some things are just not known.

Maybe now that he just "visits" Smudge is no threat to the pack order. Or now Smudge is a little older and has learned some "doggy manners" and doesn't push Grey's buttons anymore. It really is hard telling, but if you do get a glimpse into their thick heads, let me know. I would love to know why mine act the way they do sometimes.

It looks like Grey and Smudge can be the best of friends as cousins.
