Drama needs a new name-ideas?
« on: December 15, 2006, 10:30:28 am »
I am renaming Drama. It doesn't fit her, and I don't think it's the best name for a dog you are trying to find the perfect home for.

A friend suggested using an Australian and Aboriginal name. I now the breed was developed in the US, but I like that idea.

Of those, I like:
Pierah-the moon
Kora-companion
Kala-fire

I'm tempted to name her Kylie, which is listed as meaning "boomerang". She's definitely running my dogs ragged. But I have a friend with a daughter named Kylie.

We came up with some "older" names for her: Beatrice, Eunice, stuff like that.

I also like Callisto, which is Latin for beautiful little one, and Lakota, which is listed as a Native American term for friend (as well as being the name of a Native American tribe). And I like the name Kansas a lot... of course, I don't live in Kansas, so it might work. lol

Any other ideas? Preferences? Y'all always come up with neat names, so I thought I'd ask.

Thanks!

How about Mirrhi - it means "little girl" in aboriginal

Or even Brumby is a cute name for a dog!

I like Brumby, i've never heard it before but it sounds like a name I would call something I love...if that makes sense.

I think that Kora and Kala are both really cute! Or how about Arinya? It means Kangaroo. Which sounds like it could describe her about as well as boomarang! hahha!
