Parks

* Grant Park Corner of Berne St and Boulevard, Atlanta, GA Not as popular as Piedmont, but that's a good thing for some.

* Atlanta Memorial Park 384 Woodward Way, Atlanta, GA This quiet neighborhood dog park gets busy after work.

* Lullwater Conservation Park 1463 Clifton Rd NE, Atlanta, GA Emory University's answer to Walden Pond is an ideal wind-down locale.

* Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park 900 Kennesaw Mountain Dr NW, Kennesaw, GA Dogs flock to the fields and trails at this Cobb County escape.

Trails (Plenty to Sniff)  Back to Top

* Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area 1978 Island Ford Pkwy, Atlanta, GA Bring towels for when things get muddy near the river.

* Yellow River Trail Stone Mountain, GA It's a big hit with mountain bikers, but a great place for pooches, too.

* Chastain Memorial Park 135 W Wieuca Rd, Atlanta, GA Atlanta's favorite jog has one of the city's best paved paths.

* Red Top Mountain State Park 31 Red Top Mountain Rd SE, Cartersville, GA Head to the metro area's "other" lake for some peace and quiet with your best friend.

here's also the link, it has a more parks / trails link to click

there are a few other off leash parks in the metro Atlanta area that aren't as big as Piedmont but might be another option... I will go on a research expedition this weekend and report back. :)
