Another unexpected surprise.
« on: April 14, 2007, 04:24:11 am »
This past week has just been full of surprises! I don't think I could take anymore. :-\

First Lola goes into heat and I had to cancel her spay appointment that I JUST made the day before. Then on thursday.. My brother calls and says he can't take Bubba because his anal retentive wife (I refuse to call that woman my sister in law >:( ) doesn't want Bubba in their new house because he sheds and drools. ::)

THEN I get a call on friday asking if it would be possible to come and pick up our Pug pup because they have an emergency. UMMM what?!, She's only 5 WEEKS old!! :o OMG! So we go and pick her up friday night, they are left first thing saturday morning.. They are going to call me when they get back and we have the option to take her back to be with mom until she's 8 weeks or just keep her here. I've never had a puppy this young and I was a freaking wreck.. still am. LOL

But I figured you all would want to see pics. So without further ado...

Don't let her fool you! She looks sweet, but under that cute exterior she's a little piranah. LOL

LOL Tina, Nope not having fun yet. Too busy cleaning up after Lola (she refuses to keep on the undies, and let me tell you she's a SLOB! GAG) :-\, controlling Bubba's hormones and now cleaning up puppy pee and poop. She goes on papers for the most part, but ugh I'll be glad when it warms up and I can start taking her outside.

Jackie, We thought we still had 3 weeks to pick a name.. so we have just been calling her Mya. Not sure if we are going to keep that name or not.

Oh, you have had a busy week!  In my family we have a woman that's married to my brother, too.  ::)  I understand your terminology perfectly and I sympathize.  Some people...sigh. ...

Years ago, we had good luck with an old pair of men's underwear turned backwards so that our girl's tail stuck out of the front flap (if ya get my drift) with sanitary napkins inside.  That seemed to be hard for her to take off and it looked pretty funny, too.   ;D  ::)

She is so cute!  The first name I thought of was Phyllis, because, don't know why, a picture of Phyllis Diller popped into my head.

I am kind of a big deal!

My Sister in laws, mother in law has a male Pug named Pugsley. LoL, We have just been calling her Pudge (lol) because Mya just doesn't seem to fit. :-\ Or Pug-rahna since she's a little pug pirahna. LOL

She loves to bite necks so I was going to look for vampire character names. :D

But now for the update! haha. Lola loves her! Maybe a little too much. With Lola being in heat I'm wondering if she thinks she's her baby? You can't take little pug-rahna (lol) out of her sight at all. She follows whoever has the pup from room to room. It's cute and odd all at the same time. :-\

I have to get some pics of her and Bubba. She's a little scared of him and his big feet. So she runs away when he tries to play with her. He's such and ox though. LOL

Anyway here's some pics of her and Lola. The size difference is just too funny.
