Oh, she does look great. She looks a little more sleek and filled out, and very happy, too! I love pics of Chloe - she is a very sweet looking puppy!

shes doing sooo much better. unfortunately she had to get her rabies vacc. the other day, and of course, she had a horrid reaction so she had a fever and her legs blew up like stove pipes. but after a couple days that went away, and now shes up and about! shes having no trouble standing up from a sitting position anymore (it used to take a few little heave hos to get up) and shes a walking machine... up and down hills, around the yard, to the horses, to the house... the only thing is she just doesnt have enough muscle yet to get up and down the stairs, so we still have to take her in and out of the house, because you have to take a set of stairs for it... im considering building a doggie ramp so she doesnt have to be carried.. shes starting to get heavy, and soon we just wont be able to do it!

I think that a ramp is such a good idea with our big paws.  It makes it easier for them and for us if/when they have health problems getting around.  We only have 2 steps from the ground level up to our deck, but my DH built a ramp for Halley b/c of her bone cancer.  She used it and now we've found that all of the dogs prefer the ramp to the steps (that are right beside the ramp), so it must be easier for all of them.  Since Chloe has had such a battle with the HOD, I'm sure that it would be great for her, too.  The only problem that we've had is that the ramp gets slippery with ice/snow.  Also, when it rains for a prolonged period it can get an algae or something that makes it really slick.  I know, I went for nice long slide and flop on it last winter.   :o  ::)  We're in the Pac NW, so lots of rain is a reality here.  So, you may want to add some kind of traction strips to your ramp too, if you decide to build one.   ;)
