quick finder for nail clipping, TOO COOL!
« on: September 06, 2007, 10:47:47 pm »
i found this online and i know how everyone is worried about cutting quicks, so here's something too cool!  it's like a stud finder and tells you when you're going to hit quick on your pupper!  it's only about $30, too!

wow that is really cool! i definitely need one of those. i've only made one of them bleed so far.  :( but i always worry about that and hubby just freaks everytime i have to clip them, ..it makes him woozy haha. didn't know they made anything like that.

i've never seen it before, but it sure would make it a ton easier to do peanut's little nails!  his are black, and i haven't done them often (at least not myself) so i haven't REALLY learned how long his quicks are yet.  axle, well.  he's axle he keeps his own trimmed so i don't have to do it lol

haha  yeah it helps when they keep them down by themselves. i cut Chloes but sometimes i wonder if i dont cut them short enough... usually though ill cut them and then if i think they could go shorter, i just file them down a lot.

i did that yesterday with peanut.  he's so tiny, so i just got a nail file and did them, until i saw the spot in the middle.  they still look long though, so i guess i just need to do it more often!  he hated it at first, but after i was half way done and went to his back feet he relaxed on his back and went to sleep lol
