Neutering Question
« on: January 21, 2008, 11:56:16 pm »
So I have a question and need your advice. Bear is an old man of 5 who is still intact. We chose to follow our breeder's advice and not fix him. Luckily, he is awesome and has never been a problem. He occasionally gets uncomfortable when a girl is in heat and grinds his teeth  >:( when he licks girl pee (ewwww) but otherwise is terrific. I know people say behaviors after a certain age can't be changed but I am wondering...he has never "done it" or gotten close so I'm not sure he knows how.  :) He also is not aggressive or mean ever. So, if we neutered him now, do you think it would help him to be more chill or ease his frustrations during heat seasons?
Hugs,

Thanks Stella! I'm glad to know that there is hope after all. I just want my boy to be calm & not linger in frustration any more.
