Peanutbutter.  :D  But I 'stuff them" then freeze them then "serve them".  ;) They never allow much to escape the Kong or their mouths.

Modified to add - Bananas?! I've never thought of that. My guys LOVE bananas! I'm going to try that.

We put cookies in them.  That way the pups have to toss them around and "work" to get them out!  ;) :D

Lily doesn't like peanut butter or bananas or wet food or ...LOL so we use cream cheese or boiled and blended liver.

We do pretty much whatever is available..Dog bones, Treats, Peanut butter, Cheese (melt in microwave for 10 sec.), cream cheese, canned dog food (works great frozen), their regular food (layered in between canned food).

They have a list of "recipes" on their site under tips and advice... http://www.kongcompany.com/worlds_best.html

Just a few drops of almost any condiment will do it for Zita.  BBQ sauce, salad dressings, flavored vinegars, mayonaisse or soy sauce is fine with her.  She has that with the Kong in a crate so mess is not as much of an issue.

I actually love the P.B. too..just heard to freeze it so I layer with P.B., treats or regular kibble, P.B. and then ice cubes.  In the summer Kana would really just enjoy a ice filled Kong.  I have had people tell me to use that Easy Cheese (in the can), but I don't eat it b/c of all of the preservatives so therefore, I'd rather him not eat it.
I like the idea of the condiments...h e just had the lime off of my beer tonight, so that's an idea for our next Kong! ;D

just recently we have discovered that the little whole in the bottom of the "small" (we got it for her as a puppy and have upgraded yet) kong is the perfect size for a...meatball! and you can even stuff it in as it's still frozen! no need to sit around and let it freeze! hehe. she works on it for about a half hour...so if we wanna listen and actually watch a half hour tv show...we can! yey for kongs!

her first ever kong stuffin was yogart, bananas and pb. her next one was i believe fresh mangos, bananas and blueberry yogart (all mixed and blended then froze). she went NUTS for the mangos. i can't bring them home without her freaking out!  ;D we only stuff them once in a while only because we want it to be a treat. since she gets puppy size treats when she goes in her kennel, she gets treats all the time. so we stuff it when its a real treat!

but i like to look at the kong website too. they have a toco kong recipe. it's cute. :)

I make my own version of Frosty Paws.  In the summer/spring/fall when I can have the dogs outside I freeze it inside their Kongs.

2 ripe banannas
1 cup Peanut butter
2 cups ice (Pre crushed or you need a good blender)
1 cup plain yogurt
Duke 5 Year Old Menacing Hound
Butler 1 Year Old Burgeoning Monster

Peanut butter with small puppy treats or baby carrots cut in half are the favorites at our house.  The only thing is we can't even get out the jar of peanut butter without Cooper going crazy thinking it is for him!

Sammy loves apple slices. I've never put them in the kong, but can't see why it wouldn't work!

Thanks for the ideas...I froze soft dog food and froze it in the Kong.  He LOVED it.  He was shaking and doing a routine of commands without me even asking.  It was as if to say, "I will do ANYTHING you want if you just give that to me!!!!"
