I'm sick of being a patient.

The face tells it all.  She's tired of being sick and tired. Only three more days & she'll get those nasty staples out. Right?

Is your girl going to be able to have water therapy while she's on the mend? There's FINALLY a rehab center up here should any of my guys ever need it. But I always wonder how that works when it's -20 degrees five months a year.

Yup.  Thursday at 9:30 those things are gone. 
she's feeling better.  2 more weeks of very restricted movement.  the instructions say no swimming till after the 4th week with no touch on the bottom, but Grace is not fond of swimming.  she'll wade in the river, but there's never any water allowed above the tummy as far as she's concerned. 
i had a friend stop over to go to lunch with me today and Grace was so glad to see her again.  she got a long butt rub and sat on her lap.  she stayed in her crate while we were gone too.  so things are somewhat normal again.
