Well Bubba is feeling better now..
« on: April 03, 2008, 10:03:57 am »
So much for the 'tutor' keeping him down.  :-\

He's jumped on and off the couch.. pounced on the cat.. tackled Lola.. attempted to pull out his stitches ( :o  >:( ) and went outside and rolled in the mud.. and yes he had mud all over the incision.  >:( All since 8am this morning.

Right now he's on leash sleeping beside me.. This is probably the most active he's been since he was 6 months old. And I'm suppose to restrict activity for a week?!?!

Can I kill him now?! :P

I guess he's knows I can't 'tutor' him again so he's getting even. LOL

Bubba is normally very puppyish, but this is way way over the top. It's going to be a long day if he keeps it up. So far he's still sleeping.. probably just re-couping so he can do it all over again.

Oh and that anti-lick cream.. CRAP.. He just licks it off and keeps licking. ::) I might need to go pick up a cone.

I gave him the knuckle bone I bought thinking he'd lay down and chew it.. nope instead he runs around the house with it.. WTH did they do to my dog? LMAO

Benadryl has the opposite effect on Bubba. Instead of dopey/sleepy we get high strung, bug-eyed and drooly. LOL It knocks Lola out cold though.. remember her bee sting episode? Might come in handy when she gets spayed.  ;)

Glad Bubba is doing so well after his tutoring.  I have to admit that I missed out on that with Shiner as he came de-manned.  But I do remember trying to keep Kaila calm right after she was spayed.  Luckily, a lot of alcohol blocked those memories.   ;D

Oh Bubba! What a silly boy!

I'm glad he's feeling good. Are you giving him pain meds? Maybe they're making him crazy, if so. hahaha

Those pics are too cute!
