Congrats! He's adorable! What a cutie! I agree with the statement that was made about how many babies are named after the dad. If he looks like a Cole, then he probably is one, y'know? What happened to Tristan? He just didn't look like one?

I totally agree!  If Cole fits then go for it!  I think its time babies are named after mommy for a change.  He is a beautiful boy..Congrats!!

haahahaha, yes! We had him in a kiddie pool.

Well, HELLO!  Where else are you going to have a baby?   :D

That got me thinking...why not in the bath tub?

hahha, you could do it in the bathtub. Its just that its not as wide, you wouldn't really have the freedom of movement like in the birth pool.

Grumpy, seriously. After doing it in the pool, I will NEVER have another baby any other place! :D It was so awesome, quick, and really helps you, uh, stretch instead of tear.

Well, they tried to get it as close to body temp as they could, but he came so quickly, they were only able to get it to about 97.5 when he came. They like to have it right around 99.

Congratulation s! He's absolutely perfect, whatever you name him, but might I suggest:

Gene is a boy's name, too!!

Actually, i was a summertime nanny for a brother and sister: Nicholas and Nicole, we called them Nick and Coley.

I Don't think Cole or Colton are too weird at all, but I think he looks a lot like an Owen!

I know, I'm not helping. Just go with Gene - it's a good name!

CONGRATULATION S!!
wow, that was a quick delivery!
I can only hope if and when I have kids it goes as quickly.

I like the name Cole.  As someone mentioned you could play with it. Colton is nice.  I know of someone who has a Coltrain as well.  Or Colby.  I'm sure you'll come up with the perfect name.  ;)

he's so adorable! I love the yawning pic.  too, too cute!  :-*

Congrats Nicole.  He's a doll.  I have 3 cousins all named Kay and they were all born within a couple of years of each other.  We just call them by their full names like Donna Kay or Ginger Kay and then there is just Kay.  So Cole sounds like a great family name to me.

I have to tell you this story just because it made me laugh out loud.  I was thinking of different names you could add together and since several people like the name Owen, I did Cole Owen.  But if you say it too fast it sounds like Colon so probably not the best idea.   :D

Cngratulations! He is absolutely beautiful. I agree with Holly, I think Elliot is such a cute name and would fit him, too.

OK, Jenn just explained to me that Dawson is the name of some guy on TV with a giant head.  So, I will understand if you reject my name.
BHAHAHAHHAHAAAA! Than my name should be Dawson! LMAO!!!
