Super Easy Do-it-Youself Dog Toys
« on: July 03, 2008, 04:37:15 pm »
I've been making these super-easy dog toys for the craft show. The dogs LOVE them! and they are cheap and easy to make (so if they destroy them quickly, you only spent pennies making them!). All you need is a little fleece, a small piece of cardboard and a pair of scissors.

You can use scap pieces of fleece you have lying around or check the remnants at Wal-Mart or your local fabric store.

Here's the link to how to make them:

Here are some pictures of some of the ones I've made so far

and this is another bed I made - new sewing required!! It was really easy, too!

Those are awesome toys and beds.

Due to recent budget cuts and the rising cost of electricity, gas and oil, as well as current market conditions, the Light at the End of the Tunnel has been turned off. We apologize for the inconvenience

VERY VERY COOL!!!   Those blankies look awesome.

Dogs so love fleece too.  I've taken strips of fleece and braided them to make pull toys before.  something about fleece makes a dog want to lick and chew and it's really durable.  WALMART is great for cheap fabric.  too bad some of the stores are getting rid of their fabric stores when they upgrade to the superstores.

Cute. How did you make the bed with no sewing?

I used these directions for the bed:

except I used a foam insert. You can buy them in sheets at Wal-Mart, the craft store or your fabric store and cut them down to the size you want.
