Ellie is getting a liver biopsy Tuesday
« on: September 15, 2008, 09:37:37 am »
Hi Everyone...

Ellie is going for a liver biopsy tomorrow... they are going to do an ultrasound guided needle biopsy. It is far less invasive than putting her under for a traditional biopsy... which she may still have to have, but I am keeping everything crossed that she won't. The doc said the aspiration biopsy can be pretty diffinitive. And I am so glad with this procedure, it is done while I wait.

As far as Ellie's recent blood work,  some was better (though still high) and some of it was worse. She just doesn't feel well...  it is just killing me... and I am a big, boo-hoo'ing bundle of nerves.

Oh Ellie!!!!   I'll be thinking about you all day.  I hope this tells you finally what's wrong and it's only good news.

I would be a disaster, too! It's so hard seeing our pups not feeling well. I hope this biopsy gives you some answers. Sending positive healing thoughts yours and Ellie's way.  :)
