Big Paws Dig Big Holes!
« on: December 02, 2008, 12:16:13 pm »
I guess summertime can be pretty boring for a malamute freighter, so what better to do than start excavating a pond in the backyard?

This is a photo of one of our sled dogs, Nikko and the hole he dug over the course of one week last summer.  Now that's a serious digger!  Sometimes winter can't come fast enough!  :)

Might as well fill it with water and put some Koi in there.

At least it was in the woods (gorgeous by the way) and not in the flower bed. I have always had lazy diggers. They like the loose mulch.

That's for sure!  We're lucky the vegetation in our yard is wild and that Nikko didn't dig up a nice landscaping job or the flower bed.  Yeah, we were thinking we could put him to work putting in septic systems or something...ha haha!
