Speaking of good movies

I would like to recommend "Mississippi Son" to anyone interested in a real life documentary about the Mississippi coast and how hard it was hit by Katrina. My friend, Kim, is the music supervisor for the film and did a great job capturing some of the emotion. He has been a musician down on the coast for 30 years. He is also in the film. Kim lives in Bay St Louis and lost almost everything he owned. He has stayed and is trying to start over.

I did see it on Amazon. You can get it from the website, too. They were trying to get it libraries but I don't know if they did. You can watch a short trailer on mississippison .com .

It's not in theaters but it's won all kinds of awards in film festivals, etc. Kim sent it to me for Christmas. Wish you could come over and watch mine. I've still got wine, chips and salsa.
