Chicken and Rice diet?
« on: April 25, 2009, 07:18:55 pm »
Hello all!
I'm having some food issues with Daisy and need to switch her back to Orijen, from Canidae. I want to give her system a break before I make the switch (she's been having some booty blowouts) and so I was going to do the chicken and rice diet for a day or two. Is it just plain white rice? And, how is the chicken cooked? Boiled? Also, how much of this combo would you feed a 17 week old puppy each day?
Thanks so much!

Thanks Esther! How did you make the beef, and what kind did you use? Just plain hamburger?

Thanks so much everyone! I made up quite a bit of brown rice (and enjoyed some myself, ha)and boiled a couple chicken breasts. She gets a cup 3X a day, so I just did 2/3 cup of rice and 1/3 cup of the chicken for her lunch! She thought she had scored quite the treat!

Again, thanks everyone!
