We just had an Akita given to us  which we love very much.

She is a beautiful loving 2 year old.

We where wondering if there is anything that we can do to stop her climbing up onto the work surfaces in the kitchen.  She pulled my dishwasher off the surface the other day.  We are concerned she is going to hurt herself.

Any suggestions would be grateful received as we are starting to think she is a mountain goat lol.

You need to take a picture!  One thing to try is to set a cookie tin on the edge- when she starts to climb it will fall and make a God-awful racket scares the bejesus out of some dogs
