Pray for my baby Tonka!

This morning I woke up and fed my dogs as usual.  Tonka sifted his around a little ate about half of it and then went on his business, so I gave him a few minutes and then took the food away.  He has seemed somewhat normal all day, playing with the other dogs and then taking a nap on the couch, until a couple of hours ago when I tried to feed him again and he wanted nothing to do with it (usually he acts like he will never eat again!).  I then started noticing he seemed a bit lethargic and even when I would sit on the floor to play he would only come over to plop into my lap.  I decided not to take any chances and even though I might be overreacting I wanted to be safe rather than sorry, so I called the vet and took him in.  At this point he has to stay the night due to a temperature (103 deg) and for tests and IV meds.  I am sooo worried about my little boy and I just want everyone to keep us in your thoughts.  I will hopefully have some good news tomorrow and be able to bring Tonka home.

Thank you all for all your positive thoughts!  I am going crazy.....the hardest part is just now knowing anything, other than he is sick.  I will definitely keep you all posted as soon as I know anything (tomorrow).  Keep sending us positive thoughts!

I hope he is ok! It's really good that you took him in as soon as you knew something was wrong. With puppies, you can never be too careful!!!
