Hi everyone! Our names are Jackie and Taz, and we're newbies to this wonderful looking community! I'm Jackie, and I am almost 19 years old, from Long Island, New York. I have been a big Siberian Husky fanatic since I was 8 or 9 years old, and my dream finally came true a couple of weeks ago when someone from NYC rescued this wonderful dog and drove him out to me, and ever since then I have been blessed with Taz, a 9 year old GORGEOUS Siberian Husky! He is so well mannered, gentle, sweet and has nothing but love to give. I couldn't believe his owners were threatening to put such a wonderful dog to sleep, instead of trying to find him a nice home! You all can see a picture of him in my profile. I'm glad I found this community, it looks real nice! Look forward to the discussions and chatting with everyone :)

Welcome!  How lucky you both are to find each other!  People are crazy, huh....to get rid of a forever friend!

I have two Newfoundlands. ...Chester who is a 7 month old brown boy and Cowboy, a Landseer (black and white) who is almost 3 years old!

I'm so glad you chose to rescue an older dog. Many people want young ones, but the older dogs are usually calmer and have so much love to give. We have 6 dogs 2 of them are Siberians.
You will like it here, there are many wonderful people :)

Welcome to BPO and what an awesome rescue story!  Taz is one lucky Husky!

I have a 10 month old Greater Swiss Mountain Dog, Ranger.   

Be sure to post lost of pictures or we'll get grumpy!  :D

Hi everyone.....M y name is Debbie and in a few hours (approx. 2pm) I'm going to pick up our 1st ever bullmastiff puppy. We are soooooooo excited and we have always wanted a mastiff or a bullmastiff. As soon as we pick up our puppy I'll post pics.
