I want your oppinion! Thinking of a new baby???

Hi everyone!
Thanks to everyone here at BPO I have been seriously thinking of getting a new Great Dane baby to fill the void in my life now that my Sadie is gone!
If you would have asked me a week ago I would have told you I was never getting another dog EVER!!! I was and still am very heart broken over the loss of Sadie, but thanks to some great advice from some of you I have changed my mind!
I have a puppy in mind and wanted to share a picture to see what you think!

Oh, Look how cute he is. We lost Katie in May /05 to cancer. My husband decided that we would see how it was with just one dog. Well, we lasted a week before we were looking for another dog. lol Thus, we eneded up with Farley. :D
I think you should get him. ;) You have to do what feels good in your heart. ;D

Go for it is what I say - especially if it feels right. I was lucky enough not to be dogless when my beloved Phoebe died in March as I still had her mommy, but I couldn't stand the thought of having another shar-pei. But when the chance of having Flynn appeared a week after, it seemed like fate so I went for it. He** - I didn't even go looking for one - I was set up by a good friend!

He's a gorgeous fellow.  Only you can know if the time is right.  I will say that I only lasted about a month after my beloved Alexander the Great passed away before I ran across Feste. I still miss Alex, but Feste has really enriched my life in his on way.

I think if you are already thinking about it and looking at puppies, even if only their pic, then your mind is probably made up.  You just have to convince the rest of you to listen to your mind.   :D

Personally, I don't think I would last long after losing one of mine (thank goodness I have not had to deal with that yet).  The house would just be too empty.

Go for it.  That baby needs your love. You will honor Sadie by giving another fur-baby the great life she had with you.

Well finally got the hubby past the price of the little guy!!! Now we are planning to go take a look at him tonight, if the weather gets better!!!
And then give a deposit if we like him???? Yah right? Like we wont like him!!!! And he will be ready to come home on December 10th. Just in time for him to chew on my Christmas tree!!!LOL :-\
P.S.
Havnt come up with a name yet!!! We are thinking of spelling Sadie backwards and it kind of sounds cool (Eidas)????? Just a thought!
Kind of sounds like eat us!!!!!!!LOL kind of suits a great dane!
Although I know they would never eat anyone!!he he he Some people do!!!

YAY!! For you.  Can't wait to see more pics of the little (for now) guy.  And I love Eidas as a name.  Very cool and unique.

 :) :) :)Its official!!! Hes ours!
The new babies name is Keiser! He comes home on Dec.10
Yee Hoo! Im a little excited! Can you tell?
Went to see him and got lots of puppy kisses! Mom is soooooo nice and the thing I liked the best about mom is that she reminded me so much of Sadie, She made my heart melt! The puppy was sold right at that moment!

Oh, that's great news.  And I like the name Keiser.  Good choice.
