Zero's First Emergancy
« on: November 23, 2005, 08:26:21 pm »
Today, i brought my moms dog, Coen over to play with zero and Memphis.  Things were great for the first while... then they were gettin too worked up so we put them out in the yard for a bit... i was cleaning out my lizard tank (i have so many crickets breeding in there its gross...) so while i was doing this, darcy let the dogs in, and saw a huge hole in zeros neck... so i stopped everything, and took coen home and called the vet to say we were comin in... 130$ later... zero has 4 stitches and is now on Meds 1 1/2 twice a day for 10 days...  Hopefully it heals alright. tomorrow im checkin the yard for sticks or somethin that may have hurt him...

Awwwwe, poor Zero. Hope you can find what caused it.  It doesn't seem to be bothering him much.

BTW........... ..a bull terrier won Best in Show in the National Dog Show here in the states.

Poor Zero! Spoil him lots, Mom, that looks like it must hurt. BTW, Don't I remember that he had show potential? If it scars will that affect his career? I have never confirmation showed, and just wondered.

Poor fellow... here's hoping for a speedy recovery.  The boys wanted me to suggest that a steak might help to take his mind off of things while he's recuperating   ;D .

hahah, zero is downstairs crying because he wants loving!!! lol
He thanks everyone for the well wishes... and no-hes not getting no steak.... cuz then memphis will need one... and they are like 6.99 a pound here!!!!! I so dont have that money

The small scar will not hurt his show carreer... they are not judged by bumps and bruises, but on the standard of the breed. and esp. because hes a rough and tumble breed, they see right past it...

Thanks for the reply, Jodi. I really was curious about the show aspect of it and appreciate that you weren't offended by my nosiness. ;D
