What's in your first aid kit?
« on: December 12, 2005, 12:15:48 am »
I'd like to put together a first aid kit for my furkids and was curious to see what others put in theirs.  What are the essential things that should go in a doggie first aid kit?
Am I the only one that Tivos dog shows and watches them again?

I keep buffered aspirin, gasX, Immodium AD and coagulent powder (for cut nail quicks), Hydrogen peroxcide (to induce vomitting and clean wounds) and different sizes and lengths of gauze pads and strip bandages. I have used all of it at one time or another.

We travel a great deal with the pups so we carry a picture of each along with their microchip numbers just in case they were to get lost.  In addition to the stuff already listed we also have to keep extra blankets, towels and seizure drugs.  We also keep an extra leash in our vehicle at all times.
