I believe they are meeting tonight. I just am posting it just in case. We just want to make sure he is placed in the right home.

I am sure you are trying to place him with a heavy heart.  I am sorry about your situation.   :(  I know it probably isn't a LOT of consolation, but the people on here are really caring and LOVE animals.  Please take some time and read over some of the posts on BPO and you will get a feel for the great people.   :)  Good luck and I KNOW you will find a great home for your baby!

Hi, I'm the one who originally mentioned the CL ad here on BigPaws.  These are really great people who truly love their animals like family.  I truly hope your meeting goes well tonight...I know it must be terribly difficult to do what you're doing.  We'll help you as much as we can!
God help me to be the person my dog thinks I am.

OK, thanks for clearing that all up! hahaha! I just thought it was strange, and sometimes we have some weirdos posting here, and you're never quite sure.

Anyway, to echo what others have said, YES! This is truly a group of dedicated and wonderful dog owners, and you would be lucky to place Otis with any one of us. And, even after you rehome Otis, you should stick around! This is a great place! And, if you rehome him with one of our members, you'll DEFINITELY get to see lots of pictures all the time! WOOH!

Welcome!

I told him about our board -mentioned it in my e-mail & on the phone this AM- & said that declanssexymam a posted the ad link, etc.
...fingers crossed that it goes well...
