Hello to all of you, I am happy to find this forum.
I live in Romania, Europe and I am the proud owner of Carlos, a 4-year-old male Alaskan Malamute.
Together we discovered the amazing world of dogshows, that we fell in love with. Winning (mostly) and losing, but always having fun. Carlos is a Junior Champion and a Romanian Champion also and we plan on enlarging our family with a excelent quality female, maybe next year.

On March 8 it's his 4th anniversary and I plan on making him a great surprise. Any ideas?

Hi

Your Great Pyreneeas is absolutely gorgeous. Are they good as guard dogs (for property)?

Thank you!! Great pyrenees are LGD's (livestock guard dogs). They guard their flock from preditors. They do bark at anything that comes close to your property. They are not aggresive unless protecting their flock. They bite or attack as the last resort.

Thanx everyone!
All of your dogs are really nice and I see a lot of my other favourite breeds here  Smiley

Soon I'll get my home computer fixed and I'll get to post more photos (now I'm at work and this was the only pic I had with my sweet boy)

I wanna read more on this forum, since there's always smth more to learn (my experience with dogs, dominant behaviour, handling, training is quite large but there's place for improving)
