Kitana's Turn
« on: April 18, 2006, 07:08:03 pm »
My little girl is getting spayed today. It's going to be so quiet here. Kiah is going to miss her very much. She'll be pacing all day. I'm hoping I can handle this with everything else that is going on. Maybe now Kitana will stop humping! ;) LOL!

Good luck Kitana...I'm sure she'll do fine but I know you'll still worry like a good furmom.

She is just being a pup with her humping... LOL but it does get annoying... chara humped everything for a few days after her heat... poor zero lost his masculine ego... then her hormones calmed down and zero is back to being king...

I will keep your girl in my thoughts!  Hang in there, she will be just fine!

I will keep Kitana (and you, oh - and Kiah!) in my thoughts today ;) I'm sure everything will go great and she'll be just fine. ;D

Kate's humping has (for the most part) stopped now, but (as per Babs) after her spay she went on a humping spree for a few days! ::)

Hopefully Kitana will rid of the nasty habit!  GOSH - I still think it's so funny that the girls hump! :D

Good luck Kitana!  We'll be thinking of you all today.  Bella sends special good thoughts--she was spayed on Saturday.  Kitana will do great!

The vet just called and said Kitana's out of surgery. I didn't except the call so soon. She did very well! I can pick her up at 3.

Kiah looked for Kitana when we got home and watched out the window for awhile. Now Kiah is sound asleep. Maybe she's enjoying the peace and quiet!

Yay Kitana! See that wasn't so bad!

I'm curious, how old were your girls when they started humping? Sadie hasn't done that at all and she'll be 5 months tomorrow.

I think you're safe from Sadie doing it. Kitana did it to Kiah within a week after we brought her home. I really think it's a dominance issue. I have never seen her do it or any other dog or person.

YEAH! I'm so glad everything went well. Now the hard part, keeping her quiet until the stitches come out.

Kiah just stands up and tries to grab Kitana by the back of the neck or where ever see can. Sometimes Kiah growls at her. Their is no doubt in my mind that Kiah is and always will be the alpha dog.

Hmmm... I wonder why Sadie doesn't do it. Maybe because she's an only dog right now? Anyway, glad your baby is out of surgery ok. Good luck keeping her quiet!!!! ;)
