The ears and tails are cropped and docked. The ears are cropped based on owners decision usually as most breeders do not like to foot the bill for this. My boys ears were cropped when i got him at 4 months. The tails are docked by vet normally except in places like holland and a few other countries where it is becoming illegal to do so. Natural ears are preferred on most Corsos that are pets, whereas most that show generally get the ears cropped. The tail however is always done unless it is in a country that does not allow. And the croppign is not the same as with a rottie tail, it is more like a weimaraner where it is docked at the 4th vertabrae. Note in the pic this pic the length is much longer than a rottie or dobe docking. This is the correct docking size anything smaller than this is not to type standard. Although you have many breeders now days that breed and dont know that much on the breed that tend to just dock as a rotties tail would be, this is much to short and is not what the standard calls for.
thanks for asking i can talk on my breed all day long, as im sure most of you all can.
