But, we have very few crack dealers walking down the street (at least none that I know of).

My city used to be the capital of crack, but it's cleaned up it's act a LOT! I can't tell you how horrified I was though to look up and see my precious baby walking towards me dragging this HUGE bottle like "Hey Mom, look what I found!" She had no idea why I was so upset!
Dear Lord,
Just for today, let me be the kind of person my dog thinks I am.

Yeah, sorry, I'm fresh out, I might be able to round up a couple of 40's and a box-o-wine though?

I wouldn't walk in the neighborhood/area just north of my neighborhood. My neighborhood is fairly safe; I used to walk after dark a bit, but then some of the guys in the dog park said they wouldn't even do it. Actually, there is a mixture of unsafe areas and newly built $300,000-600,000 homes all around here. This whole part of town is going through a revitalization period, and it's finally getting this far south. I did, though, get offered marajuana three times in the first week I lived here from different neighbors. LOL. They're a friendly bunch...

I forgot: One time, I was walking Riley and Sadie at night, and this guy comes out of the bushes nearby and up to me. Riley goes up to him for loving (grreeaaat-he is getting more protective now). Sadie, though, stands by me and gives him the evil eye. LOL. He goes, "Is that one mean?". I said, no, but she's very protective of me. I should have said yes, but he got the point. He walked back off towards the area he came from. The whole thing kind of spooked me.
