Dont know if you remember me but I used to own a lovely newfoundland pup called dakota.I say used to because in the end i had to have him pts.I still think of him every day and think i will for a long long time.Well the reason i have joined again  is because i got another pup a few weeks ago  his name is guinness and he is 14mnth he is a black newfie also but very bouncy full of energy and very loving gentle dog and i love him to bits in fact i did from day one.Only thing is he wasnt used to being on lead but is doing really well considering next step is getting him to do recall wish me luck....kate

I am very sorry for the loss of your beloved Dakota. 

Welcome to your new baby Guinness may he have a long and healthy life with you. 

We, of course, need pictures!!

that is sad.  I'm sorry for your loss.  that's always tough. 
But congrats on the pupper...and when are WE gonna get to see that little drooly face?

I remember Dakota , he had HD , right ? I'm so very sorry for your loss  :'(

Thanks all for the warm welcome back I m sure i will be chatting to you alot as guinness does need a bit of training lets just say hes worth it and im looking forward to it Here is a pic one of many
