She's pretty protective of her leg, but you can almost see her staples

Poor Grace.. that incision is bigger than I thought it would be. It looks like it's healing really well though.

But yup she's beautiful even drugged and cut up. ;)

I know...they really slice the leg open wide.  Lady's was like that too.  there are at least 15 staples in there.  i'm going to cry next week when we go in to have them out.  i watched the doctor take them out of my ex husband's leg, but dogs are different.   
that's her new favorite spot...on the top of the bed with her butt on the pillows.  she is nice enough to let me have a sliver of the other side to sleep on.  i have 100 pillows on the floor for her too so she is like the princess and the pea story.
