Ang just called me it's 4:00pm (CST). She's going to the Hospital to get a CT scan!! YAY!! Hopefully she'll get good news. Whatever the news it's better to know for sure what's going on in that head of hers! Ok, so now we can all have a huge sigh of releif that she's getting the scan she should have gotten days ago.

I was so happy when she called me! ;D I can understand everyword she said. She doesn't sound that bad just like she's clenching her teeth in pure anger, but that's ok. She just wanted to make sure everyone knew what was going on because we were all bugging her about getting her butt back to the hospital! lol

Andi - Thankyou for the update. I yelled at her to go on the other thread and keep refreshing to see if she listened. I am hoping for her to come back and say "what was all the fuss about- I'm fine!!!" I just can't believe they didn't do it in the first place!!!!

I'm hoping she'll get back on and post, "You guys are overprotective and crazy! I got a head scan, and I'm fine so there!" I'll be very happy to hear that she's ok and that there's nothing more to worry about! Let's keep our fingers crossed.

Thank goodness! We'll all be thrilled if she comes back and yells at all of us for being over-reacting worrywarts.
Now all we have to do is find Coonie to find out if Judge is okay, and I can go back to harrassing my skin-kids about their lives. ;D

Ok, Ang where the heck are ya? My over imaginative worried mind is saying the only way you haven't replied yet is cause they're keeping you at the hospital and that's not good! Please let us know what's going on before I go insane with worry and fear!

Glad to hear she went to the ER. Don't worry, it normally takes a good 8 hrs at the ER, but could take twice as long since its the weekend and they need to call in docs to order tests. You can start worrying tomorrow at noon if no one hears from her.
Just keep her in your prayers and be glad she went back in.

8 hours is pretty good at the ER's here in Vegas. And on a saturday night - long long wait!!!! Although she should be a higher priority because she actually had LOC.

OMG!!! The updates just keep coming! I just got off the phone with the poor girl. It's 11:30 (CST). She's in the hospital til Monday. The CT scan came back ok, no tumors or anything, but they're keeping her cause they think she may be having seizures or heart problems. She's ok and very positive everything will be ok, but at least the DR.s will be monitoring her for the next couple of days. She's in a padded bed with restraints near in case of a seizure, scary I know. She's also on heart monitors. She's in a room by herself though so she's happy about that. Also they have her barricaded in her room theirs a whole bunch of chairs blocking her door so she can't get out!! GOODNESS! We were laughing about that cause I said, "What's next, you gonna be on suicide watch!" hehee, bad joke I know.
On a more funny note..... the nurse who first took care of her, the one that didn't order the CT scan got yelled at by the DR for cutting corners. LOL And Ang got to hear the whole thing so we were both laughing about that. Yes, she should have been in the hospital for a few days of monitoring RIGHT AFTER her accident happend, but at least she went back and is getting that taken care of now. WHEW!! Ok I think that's it for now. She did say there is a internet cafe there so she might get online when she has a chance, but I told her to GET SOME REST! If I hear more I'll keep you updated, but for now all we can do is keep sending those get well vibes her way!

Wow! Poor Ang! I hope everything will be okay and she won't have any lasting affects from the accident. Thanks so much for the update. Tell her to take care of herself and that we miss her. At least she has piece and quiet. I read her thread about her grandmother. Now I guess she'll know that Ang wasn't faking it! LOL! I'm sending good vibes her way.

Oh Jeez. Barricaded the door? What is that about? Poor Ang, life is not going well for her right now.
But look on the bright side. She can get away from her grandmother's nitpicking for a couple of days. ;D

HAHAHAA!! Yeah when her grandmother got brought up in our convo she did seem happy she gets to take a little break. She needs to focus on getting better not worring about what her grandma's gonna say next. As for the barricading of the door, she thinks it has something to do with the fact she told one of the nurses she used to sleep walk. We just thought it was funny. I felt so bad cause we both kept giggling and I can't see that feeling very good for her.

With all the stresses in her life right now the hospital is a good place to be. Hopefully the barracade will keep Granny out as well.

JEEZ!!! What's up with that granny? If the woman had half a heart, she'd take one look at Ang's chin and wired jaw and maybe realize this is NOT the time to get on her case. It just affirms that granny is one sick granny!! Ang is finally going to have some peace and quiet! YEA! Now she can get on with the business of healing!

I for one feel much better now. Every chance I've had the past few days I have come onlone to check up on her. I'm glad to see that she is being taken care of instead of getting verbally abused by her granny and giving doggy baths!!! :o

Hopefully they will be able to make a definative diagnosis and she'll be home in no time. Although sleep is probably not something she'll get alot of in the hospital, she should be made comfortable with minimal to no pain.

I'm on the phone with Ang again!! She's super depressed because no one will come visit her. Matt, her grandma, or her mom have not come to visit! She's super upset that Matt hasn't come to visit because he told her he was going to today so she was looking forward to it. SOOOO she's lonely, and I feel so sad! I thought I'd post her hospital info she's at the St. Joseph's Hospital in Nashua in room 356B. Now I know there's not anyone super close to her but her phone number is 603-595-5784. The Dr.s have figured out that her BP is dropping significantly when she stands up and I don't know what that means for sure but it doesn't sound good. So she's got lots of heart testing stuff going on. Let's just hope everything turns out ok.

Yeah we might have to do that! I just know if my significant other was in the hospital they wouldn't be able to get rid of me! That's why I'm so sad for her right now. AND I beleive her TV only has 5 channels so she's literally bored to tears.

It's called orthostatic hypotension. Some people call it a "head rush". But it definately can make you pass out. Now they just have to figure out what causes it.

Hmmmm....glad she is in the hospital but this hospital concerns me...blocking the door with chairs? Restraints? weird. They don't restrain seziure patients anymore because it causes more injury. That is so old school. And it doesn't really sound like seziures? just weird. I think the hospital and the doc are trying to cover their hiney because they were wrong to release her without a ct scan. And I don't know who the dr is yelling at - he is the one who is suppose to order and review the CT scan - not the nurse. He is the one who writes the discharge order. Everything just sounds completely strange.

Thankyou Timmie, I agree. I was going to say that about the nurse not ordering the ct but I thought maybe she was seen by a nurse practitioner. We have them here in the ER and they see the "walking wounded" If that was the case they did a very poor job of triaging her in the first place and assigning her case. Either that or it was a case of the dr knowing he screwed up and trying to pass the buck. I'm betting that they just have her bedrails padded as a seizure precaution. Barracading her door sounds bizarre, I don't know what that's all about. We have bed alarms that let us know if a pt gets up, that's more appropriate if they are afraid of sleepwalking.

yeah - it sounds weird....When we work with the NP's in the er - the er doc still has to sign off on the chart. I'm glad the hosp has an internet cafe but I am concerned about the care.

The more I hear about that hospitol, the more I find it disturbing.
I wouldn't mind calling her if it weren't for the fact that a) I hate talking on the phone, and b) I don't really know her well, and I don't think she would want to talk to a stranger. I can just see our conversation.
Me: So how are you doing?
Ang: I feel like crap.
Me: That's too bad........... .....long silence....... ............so how's the food?
Ang: I can't eat anything yet, you fool, my jaw is still wired shut.
Me: Soooooo....... .............. ...how's it goin'?
Ang: You alrady asked me that.
Me: Sorry. ummmmm........ ..........soun ds like they are going to run some tests on you.
Ang: Yeah, that's going to be ALOT of fun.

LMAO ZooCrew that's hilarious!! Ang and I have convo's like that every once in awhile so she's used to it! lol Tonight I said something like, "Hospital food isn't too bad." And she says, "Yeah it's not bad if you can actually eat the food." She probably thinks I'm a nutcase, but oh well.
I'm so glad she has company!! She was so upset earlier ... thanks for calling girls I bet that made her day!

WHAT?!?!?!?! Young girls black out for attention!!?!?!?!?!That is complete BS. I have seen complete Drama in young girls but not to the point that you break your jaw and get all the other injuries. Even people who fake black outs or seziures will always protect their head. It is human nature..you can't help it. That is how you can tell the difference between the real thing and the fakers - besides giving a mean sternal rub. This doc is nuts. I cant even believe he said that to her. I say check out and go somewhere else - HURRY...That is like the Hospital of Horrors...

I'm on the phone with Ang and she says that she's in there until Tuesday. She loves everyone and is going through crazy BPO withdrawls. They won't let her go to the internet cafe because
"They're afraid that I'll pass out and die."
Nothing exciting is happening and she is bored to tears. :(

It was real stress test and they made her heart get up to 185 and then made her stop. They never made her work up a sweat or anything, just walking.

Oh no!! She wanted to get out of there today!! UGH! The poor girl can't get a break! I'll have to call her later. And why can't someone go with her to the internet cafe so she can at least do SOMETHING! I don't agree with all Hospital rules can ya tell? lol I sure hope they can figure out what's wrong with her.

The thing that REALLY upsets me is that she told me last night one of the Dr.s (I think) said that they could do all this testing and STILL not find out what's wrong with her. I would be so frustrated if that were to happen! I sure hope she get's out of that hospital soon!
