Special is so beautiful!  She even pulls off the short hair look great!  What a fashion forward girl you have there.  Can't wait to see more pics of her.

Nicole, I'm sooo happy for you!  Special has such a sweet-goofy-Newfie face!  I agree with everyone else:  she will settle in and learn the rules in no time.  They are so smart and want to please!  Where did she come from ?  What's her back ground?  How did she lose her eye? (isn't that why she's 'Special'?)

Extra kisses and drools from us to Cabeza for learning to share his family!!

She comes from Winddancer Newfs in Missouri. I'm not really sure why they gave her up...or what the circumstances were. I just know that she was the breeder's dog.  ??? Her eye is still in there, its just like...atrophi ed. It was from an unspecified accident. They think that maybe mama sat on her in the whelping box or something.

I'd like to know more about her. I'll let you know if I find out anything else!

Special I am so sorry I thought I already wrote to welcome you to BPO and your new foster family.  You certainly are a beautiful girl - personally I like the short hair look on you it works.  You have wound up in a wonderful, loving foster family who will give you everything you need.  Best of luck to you pretty girl!!
