Hey everyone!
I was hoping to find a solution or some help in figuring out what to do to get her to come when I call her! She's a Special Skills Service dog and she is actually very well trained, but she's also is only a year and a half old.. and a people/dog loving lab.
We have a "play-date" every morning where we meet other dogs and their owners who come to the park that is right across the parking lot from my appartment. There are usually at least 5-10+ dogs and with them, several owners.
We decided that it was unfair for Luna to try to play with all those off leash dogs while she's on her 6-foot leash... And I really need a way to get her to get rid of some energy and play.
The only problem I have with her is that when she gets going, she doesn't come back until SHE wants to. I try to yell "LUNA COME!!!" and stuff but I have a feeling that she can't hear me well enough and that she is too excited.
??? ??? ???
I bought a dog whistle today.. I really wish and hope and pray that I will be able to get her to listen to that. It's not like I can run after her or anything! :(
Can anyone help..???
Any suggestions?

Thank you Julie!
One of the rules fro the school is that every single time we use the "re-call" command (aka calling her), she gets a treat. Usually she gets Beggin' Strips pieces... Even if I walk away, she doesn't notice!!! She just keeps on playing/ barking at people or dogs.. etc...
I am at the end of MY leash.. haha (that is a good show, btw on TLC on top of describing my feelings..)
Other than this, she is a great little lady!
