So I get out of training early today and call the kennel to pick up Grace. The guy at the other end of the phone screams to some lady "Have you seen Grace? Where's Grace? The Rottweiler."
No, they didn't loose my girl. She was off having fun and they lost track of her. Afterall, how easy is it to loose a 108 pound rottweiler?
I pull into the drive to get her, and she's safe in her pen. She was so excited to see me and ran out to the Jeep to wait for me.
I told the lady I'd use her again if I made it to that side of the state and went off to let the dog into the Jeep.
The office loaded me up with supplies, 2 boxes of paper and 6 boxes of toner, a fax/printer/scanner, a lap top and a small portable scanner, and then my luggage. Grace had to sit in the way back behind the back seat. Not a happy camper at first, but we managed.
She had a ton of fun, but is glad to be home I think.
I'm so glad I took her with me and boarded her there. It was great having a navigator of sorts. I'd look back into the rear view mirror and her face was all I could see. That big smile and those bright eyes were so funny. I could just see Happy written all over her face. That was worth it for me.
