Bailey surprised me a bit at 2 this morning.  She started with a little half bark and then went into full blown deep Bailey barks.  I got up to see what she was doing, there were strangers on our porch drinking.  I was a little surprised and my husband was flabergasted.  Baileys actually been a pretty big baby with situations like this in the past (she usually hides under something so she feels safe, sometimes my legs!) I guess with age she's getting a little more protective! I was happy to see it!

So i've noticed since i spayed Bailey she's got what looks like blood around her bottom.  I'm not sure if the two are related or if I should be worried.  Could the spay not have worked?

Great Pyrenees Discussions / I'm losing my mind!

My pyrenees is super independent.  I know this is normal with this breed but she takes it to a new level.  She knows her name well and will lift and ear or maybe even look at you when you say it but she refuses to come unless she feels like it.  She runs away from you likes it a game if you try to put a leash on her and worst of all she wanders if she has any chance out of the yard.  She's not a year old yet but i'm getting concerned that she's not just acting like a puppy, and that these things are going to be permenant habits! please HELP ME!
