I love labs and, of course, Sadie in particular. She has got to be one of the most naturally happy dogs I've ever met. She didn't have a great life before I met her, but she was happy even when I took her in.
This was Sadie's morning, according to her (at least, here's what I think she was thinking):
Mom's up! Yes! Oh, my goodness, let's get going!! Wonderful. Great, she's stopping by the bathroom! I love this place. Hi, Mom! Hi, Mom!! Good Mooooorrrnnnii nnng! We're going outside? Yes! Terrific, I love the outdoors! And I don't have to wear my leash! Even better! Oh, my goodness, the door is opening! Wow! The smells... okay, find the right place, find the right place... Woot! There it is! I love going potty! Stairs! I love stairs! Up, up, up... Mom! Look! Down, down, down... Yes! It's sunny. I love this! Inside? Okay... Water?! You're giving us water? My favorite! This is a great day! Oh, we're going for a walk?! Wonderful! My leash! Yes! Bugs! I love bugs! What a wonderful walk, it's just us! Oh, there are some people! Yes, people! And a dog! Could this get any better?! The mail? You want to get the mail?! Fantastic! I'll stop! Sure, what now? Back inside? Great, I love going inside! Maybe I can get Riley to wrestle me-I love to wrestle. Mom's making breakfast! Terrific! Breakfast! This is the best day!
