Elizabeth,
He's just a tad over 6 lbs. He is technically 9 weeks old, but comparing him to his littermates he's always been about 2 weeks behind for everything (chewing, barking, playing, that crazy hyper stage, his teeth came in later, he started puppy food later, etc.)
Do you remember what Sophie and Syrus were at 7 weeks old?
We didn't get them until they were 4 months old. And they were a surprise from hubs who didn't know about checking out breeders, so we didn't get to follow them from birth. That is one of the reasons I'm living vicariously through you watching Gilly. I love it and can't stand it. He's soo cute. Soph was 48lbs and Syrus 52 at 4 months. Syrus is a bit taller and Sophie broader in the hips. Isn't that always the way with us females?
They are 15 months now and Sophie is 130, Syrus 137. They probably won't get any taller, but should still fill out some.
As much fun as it is to have these giant bubs, which is one of the reasons to get a Newf. I think a dwarf Newf would be adorable. Are there still indications he may be a dwarf? That would mean you still need to get Mary Ann to have the giant Newf as well.
