Cool.  My next car is going to be a SUV.  People say I should let the dogs ride in the back of the truck....I tell them that I wouldn't let my kids ride back there and I'm certainly not going to let the fuzzies back there.  Think it would hold 2 danes and 1 pyr?

That's sweet! My dad swears by his Durango and makes fun of everyone else in my family because we all drive Toyotas. Your pups will be riding in style. I bought my pups a car this past fall since it gets a little cold up here for them to ride in the back of my truck even with the cap on it. My daughter tells me I look ridiculous in it and that I'll never have another date as long as I drive it because it's a girlie car but it's got tons of room for the pups, it's good on gas, and it was cheap enough that I could keep my truck also. Here's a picture...don't laugh.

Durangos are nice my cousin has one and she fits a ton of stuff in hers.

We have the PT Cruiser which can fit two big paws with the seats down three with the seats out.  Out vet has a Ford Explorer and she fits her two nards and still would have room for at least three more.  The thing has a ton of space.

Chelle, I love it!  I am looking for something that will hold my two (maybe 3) and the stuff to travel to shows.  I may have to take a look at one like your ;).  Super nice ride for you and the babies.  Does the pack fold down flat?

Thanks everyone!...I love it!...Yup, the back seats fold down flat...To tell the truth though after taking the back seat out of my minivan it hauled the dogs & kids just as well but it is on it's last legs.

Very nice!!!  I did the same thing 2 years ago; after 3 mini  vans I was walking thru our local mall and fell in love with a new 04 GMC Yukon - called my dh and said guess what I bought at the mall today?  He was a bit surprised!!

Best of luck with the new ride.

Nice new ride and I love the color!

We checked out a Durango about 3 yrs ago and the seats were hard as rocks!  There was no way I was gonna travel for hours sitting on those things.  We checked out a Suburban and man I fell in love!  I wanted it in blue with the split doors, but they only had it on the lot in green; bummer, but I bought it anyways!  I love it and knew it was great when we moved shortly there after, from Texas to Louisiana.  I took the third seat out and packed that baby full! We had 2 kids, me driving, 2 cat carriers w/cats, 1 bird in cage, two large dog kennels w/two dogs, 2 huge duffel bags with clothes and such, 3 rubbermaid containers with cleaning supplies (you know all the stuff that the moving company won't take, but I refused to waste money throwing out!), and some other odds and ends.

Now my dane, Perdi, sits in the third seat 'buckled' in, and my lab, Duke, sits in the back 'tied' down.  Works really good and everyone else sits up front and in the second seat.
