Thanks for the Welcome.

I hope I can figure out how to post pics..ha..ha.. I am at work so when i get home i will post his recent pic in my Sig line,I figured out how to do that.

Bear is only 12 weeks old :D And the sweetest.Sort of a sad story though :'( I took in 3 of what was left of 10 Pyr puppies at 10 days old,I have a friend that bred her female Pyr and had pups.Mom sat and squished several of them and would not feed the rest,With my friends work schedule she could not bottle feed and give them what they needed..I had her bring them to me,at the time it was 4 left..1 died that same night :'(I took the last 3 and bottle fed and raised them up,After all my hard work she agreed to give the pups to me,at 8 weeks I placed 2 bouncy happy pups into new homes,I kept one for myself ;D Hubby and I had planned on buying a Pyr in a few years for our new land with the livestock but in a few years,I ended up with one earlier then expected! which is great,he is a wonderful puppy,I love the breed already! he is now 12 weeks old.I have done tons of reading and talking to lots of breeders around the Globe and even Pyr Rescue groups to find out all i can about the breed.I have never owned a pyr before.I also have a Golden/Lab mix and and an English Cocker Spaniel.Bear.. puppy Pyr is being houseraised and will be our sweet companion :D

That is my long winded story on how I obtained my Beautiful baby ;D

Thank You.Bear is my little Heart and soul,i have had him since 10 days old,I was holding him when he cracked one eye open.I watched him take his first puppy steps, its been amazing.

My son took the pic of me in the pink shirt..ha..ha. .the litle girl is actually my daughters friend,She was over helping give puppy baths :D

It was very hard to let the other two pups go when i did,I wanted to keep them all but we are moving and did not have room where we are now for 3 large puppies.1 of the pups went to a family member and the other to a friend so they both got great homes.

Bear is a cutie. I currently have some 11 week old Pyr babies here that are rescues and did the bottle feeding etc. The babies here are awaiting to go to new homes and 2 of the boys are going to be traveling to Maryland in the very near future to thier forever mommy.
I can honestly tell you that 6 eleven week old puppies can wear you out in no time flat. I also understand how hard it is to let them go- I will be devastated saying goodbye, but it will also be nice to be able to sleep later than 4 am every morning.
keep posting pics

Also - for the BPO'ers... not definite but Piglet could possibly be a forever baby.... there is a family debate going on between the husband and the daughter now...

WOW! this is great! I love being able to converse with other Pyr owners/People..and everyone else to of course,I have a 90 pound Golden/Lab cross that is my sons dog and an 8 year old English Cocker we rescued 4 years ago so of course I love talking to all doggy people but have not ran across anyone that I know that has pyrs other then my friend that has the mom to my bear, she is new to pyrs to,she adopted mom and then bred her 5 monhts later >:( so she actually knows less then I do,she doesnt read or talk to anyone,so in short what i am saying is i am glad there are Pyr owners on here as well to help me being a first time pyr owner ;D but i love to talk about doggys of any kind!

;D I only have the one pup now,Bear...the other two i placed into homes at 8 weeks old,I was planning on keeping them until 10 to 12 weeks but they outgrew my dinning room and i had no where else to house 3 large puppies!
I am raising Bear in the house, once we move in April he will be about 6 months old then we will have a fenced yard he will be in and out, right now he is mostly in except for leash walks and occassional going with me to the barn to feed horses. He likes to wander off to bad not to be on a leash >:( we do nto have a fenced yard now but when we move we have a 1/2 acre fenced in for the dogs ;D
