Yup you deserve that glass of wine. Weird neighbors. You know sometimes these things are very difficult and can escalate into all-out wars. I don't know what kind of neighborhood you live in but it would be best to nip it in the bud before it gets worse. Perhaps a neighborhood BBQ would fit the bill where you could have a good time and get to know everybody a little better. The weirdos probably won't show so that would give you somebody to talk about (just kidding). Anyway maybe even a neighborhood watch group could help. Believe me, otherwise it will not get any better. I have seen people get hurt over even more trivial things.

Mixed Breed Pictures / Re: Niki's new vest

Thanks everybody but I must tell you I thank all of the BPO people that encouraged us to continue with the project, especially Gypsy and Marit. Niki's vest says "Ask to Pet Me, I am Friendly" and has a picture of a dog with tail wagging. Underneath that it says "Therapy Dog". TDI will send her a photo laminated ID to wear. TDI also says that we will be on standby for any major emergency. I guess the dogs go into shelters and other places to sooth and entertain. They say they were there on 911 and the Pentagon. I am not sure if they are working at our recent disasters.
Bear will take his test before November, followed by Cody.
I will keep you all posted.

I changed my avatar to show you how she now sits. She has done that since her first surgery but it has never bothered her. And, like I say, no arthritis or limping after her second tear.

Well, I finally got Niki's patches sewn on her new vest. She even has pouches in it for her paperwork which is the last thing I am waiting for.
She is trained to pick up helium balloons by their weights and take them to whoever I tell her to. (kids and patients). I have a tank and will get balloons that say "get well" and "love ya". I think they will like it.
When the rest of the crew is ready, then we will have a Fresno group and I can't wait.
I think she looks pretty good and I am so proud of her.
