Lots of dogs for adoption! *updated 10-9-06*
« on: August 19, 2006, 04:20:43 pm »
Hey everyone. I just found a large listing of big dogs, all of which need good homes. Sorry! No pics right now, but if any of you are interested in one, I could possibly get some and post them. If anyone is interested in any of these dogs or knows someone who might be, pm or e-mail me and I'll give you the contact info of the people who care for each of these dogs. I can pull probably most of these dogs if anyone is interested and help with transport! Can anyone give a good home to a dog in need? All of these dogs are quite young and need a good, loving home very soon! The prices vary quite a bit on all of them. Thanks a lot!

How far are you from the mastiffs?  Would like to have an idea what shape they are in before I forward the info to some groups I am in.

I am approximately 90 minutes (at most) west of the general area they are located in, but one of them may be closer to me, I'm not quite sure. I can probably help with transport within up to 1 to 2 hours away, depending on what day it needed to be on and my work/school schedule.

Ok, thanks.  Just checking into what it would take to get them into mastiff rescue, and the only way that will work is to give the info directly to the mastiff rescue in their area and have them each evaluated before being taken in, so it might work, it might not, depending on what kind of temperaments they have, and if they are mixes of any kind.

I'm 95% sure these are all purebreds and most if not all of them live in a home environment, so they should have pretty good temperaments and dispositions.

Just to let you know, I will be in the area that most of these dogs are located in on Sunday. Let me know if I need to do anything to help transport at this time or any other time. Thanks!

I sent the info on to the midwest branch of rescue, so I will have to let you know if I hear anything back from them.

Hon, I wish. The only type of dogs we are in the market for at present are dedicated (working) Great Pyrenees. If you hear of any that need to be rehomed, please let me know.

Captain has turned into our rescue, medical problems, fear aggression, food issues, and underweight all rolled into one. So our time and energy is for him. No more dogs in the house for now. :(

either a Saint pup or a Bernese.
A male pup would be best.

I'm unsure how to send messages on here.
Let me know how to contact you. Thanks

That is great news! Since you might not know how to open a private message, I'll just give you the contact info in an e-mail! I'm sending one now!
