CNN Reports Vivy missing from JFK

good morning everyone

I was watching CNN earlier and it seems that a Whippet named Vivy has somehow escaped her crate at the runway at JFK after competing at Westminster.  It appears that there are people looking and even a helicopter but what really annoyed me was the flippant attitude of the anchor, Miles I think- he was laughing and joking that the dog was on the lamb or maybe chasing a lamb.  He was so uncaring that this is not only a costly show animal it is also someones loving pet!!!

I hope Vivy makes it home OK - and now I am off to do something I haven't done since I was a teenager (A long time ago) I am going to write to CNN and tell them how terribly this was handled.

I was just reading the article in the paper.  You have to wonder what really occurred for that dog to "escape"?  I sure hope they are able to find the pup......they were saying that the longer it takes the less likely the dog will come to anyone....and just try and catch a whippet!!!!! My prayers are with them!!
