Oh I do like to be beside the seaside!
« on: March 29, 2006, 12:19:46 pm »
You won't have noticed but I've just been on holiday. - Just a short one - I Piled the dogs into my Little Suzuki van and set off on a 250 mile epic journey, on friday, to the south coast / english channel. Foolishly I let the automobile association guide me, 2 hours in a Traffic Jam at Northampton, followed by 3 hours on the greatest car park in the world, also known as the M25. I managed to leave the M25 at Heathrow, fill up with petrol and rejoin 5 cars behind the french wagon I had been following for the previous hour. Its the first time I've ever fed and watered the dogs in a traffic jam!

I spent monday on the beach at Selsey - real California weather....... .....not, it was all horizontal rain and high winds, the dogs loved it. Tuesday was better with some sun though still rough and windy. but we had a great day on the beach at Littlehampton and managed to get some photos.

We're now back at home preparing to join the other 248 newfies who are going to Southport for the Northern Newfoundland Club Show on Saturday.

I was wondering what happened to you....I thought Bell or Hovis put you in the hospital or something.  Traffic is evil.  It looks like the girls had a good time though.

I love your photos!  How pretty they are against the movement of the water!

Great photos - the sea looks like milk it's so churned up!

You'll have to take Bell & Hovis to Freshfields after the show to see the red squirrels. I keep meaning to get the train and take Flynn, but the squirrels are endangered enough without his help.
