I love their dad's face.  I hope some look like him.
it was a breeding done to enhance the breed ,,,,we traveled 4 1/2 hours to use him as stud i'm sure there will be a beautiful mix of both, both are beautiful dogs, with strong pedigrees and great temperments,,,,,,, his sire won westminster and was the # 1 RR for many years. his name was ch. kimani's blue chip image, a bis biss rom  etc titles
now thats what i call a good planed breeding,,,,we will see how the pups develope, im hoping for lots of lines out of the grandparents,,,,,since i bred nandi's mom and she championed very fast. right now im just concentrating on the babies and the mom. they are getting nice and chunky,,,,,,,too cute

they are 1 week old today

ester c, folic acid. fotified wheat germ oil,,,,,,,,,,,
and of course treats. the ester c is great for everything, our nandi is on folic acid, she is pregnant, and the 1 tsp of oil daily makes the coat shine!

She was such a gorgeous girl, I know she will have no trouble making lots of friends at the bridge. It is terrible to lose a friend so suddenly, I know how it feels and my prayers are with you!
Cuttles/sadiemay

thank you so much

Mixed Breed Discussion / Re: Bad trainer??
« on: November 16, 2005, 09:54:25 am »

I just took my 6 month old Aussie mix Kobi to an obedience class.the first thing they wanted to do was have him be held down, Kobi has always had a problem being restrained. so anyway, I was having a problem getting him down. The trainer came over got VERY rough with him and Kobi bit him. So the trainer hung him, he had a choke chain on so it was even worse, the poor pup shit himself and his lips turned blue, he almost passed out. I was SICK!!!
He did behave after, but I think there has to be a better way to train. the bad news is I live in a rural area and this guy is the ONLY trainer around.
Please any thoughts on this, I really wanted some training for him, he's a really good dog in every other way and loves people.

Thanks,  Aimee

i have NEVER HEARD  of this kind of training
it's cruel

someone should hold him down and choke him

a good obed. book with reward and positive reinforcement would be much better,   how dare he hurt an animal, no way to train!!!! :o

I just read this story and it made me really happy.  This dog would have been doomed in the past.  What great leaps we have made in Veterinary Science!
