Shelly is 8yrs old and very sweet and loving to people. We took her in as a foster because the lady that owned her was moving and could not take her with her. Her son (up until about 2 months ago) was stopping in and taking care of her. He was supposed to be finding a forever home for Shelly and apparently was not working to hard at it. Shelly is really sweet and loves attention, she also knows all of the basic comands (sit, lay down, shake) she also speaks when you use the sign language for speak. I am unable to keep her since she has been attacking our other dogs unprovoked. She has also bitten me twice durring these attacks on the other dogs while I was trying to seperate them. I can't keep the other three seperated much longer it's not fair to her and not fair to the other dogs either. I really hope that someone can help Shelly out and give her a forever home that she can be comfortable in and not have to worry about other dogs. Here are some pictures of Shelly.

I am just so impressed that RA gets along so well with them both I am just giddy over it!! He is very gentle with them he doesn't even put his mouth on them (yet) lol. He just sort of nudges them with his head and mouth and is very protective over them so far! I am just having sooooo much fun watching them it makes my day when I come home from work. Durring the day when I have to have them seperated (puppies in the house and RA out) they all look at each other through the screen and whine until play time.

No I didn't get the lights fixed yet :-[ but I do have video of them durring the day so you can actually see them! I just don't like those trips to wallyworld much ;)

Ooooppppsss I just counted wrong she is actually 12 weeks as of today! Oh and I just had to post a picture of our other little chowling and my daughter. He is only 8 and 1/2 weeks old. His name is Chen and he and Cai Li are having a ball together!!!

She is actually very large for her age and a little devil girl to boot! She is only 11 weeks old as of yesterday and she allready knows how to open the front screen door and escape...oh vei what did I get myself into?? LOL! Thanks for all the compliments I don't really care if they change or not I was just told by someone that it is a pigment dilution and a fault. I think that she is beautifull just the way she is I was just wondering if it was something that was common. Thanks all!!

Chow Discussions & Pictures / green/grey eyes on a blue chow chow?
« on: July 21, 2007, 11:17:33 pm »
I have asked this question on other sites and am still not getting a straight answer. I bought an AKC registered blue female chow chow and her eyes are a greenish/grey color. Is this comon in a blue chow and is she going to grow out of it? ???
