« on: September 30, 2006, 12:31:56 pm »
Hey guys here are some pictures of our carved pumpkin shrine to fumble! :) hehehe we spent some time today carving pumpkins, roasting the seeds, and making caramel apples! I guess the cool gorgeous day just got us in that fall mood!  Hope you guys enjoy!

Heres a little description of all of them:
1. This is one with a flash you can see the fumbs really well but the pumpkins don't look light up!
2. This is one of him w/ the pumpkins light up!
3. Them all lite up!
4. Our Boo!
5. The Newf head
6. and our las final one.. "don't take me away from my pumkins!!!"
"My newfoundlands live my life as passionately as i live theirs"
"I slip the hater of what i've become.  they slip the halter of what they've been, and we live together, passionately, changed"
-Both from "in the company of newfies"

You know, Erin or Stacy or both, you make dog moms everywhere look bad!  ;) Those pumpkins are awesome! They really are the most creatively carved pumpkins I've ever seen. Where did you find them so early to carve?? Here there is still no sign of the big orange ball anywhere.

Those are awesome! Please tell me you had a pattern or something!

Were lucky up here on the northeast coast.. its chilly enough for pumpkins this early.. i dont know if thats really lucky though! but it was so much fun!
Eiren had a pattern for the paws and i used the same picture i did for the tire cover for the newf head.. it was just so much fun to do.. when we started i told eiren i am not all about that creepy halloween stuff so we decided to just do the usual "neighbors that are obsessed with their dog!" hehehe glad you guys liked them :)

As a fun idea for all of us in the hot and humid states.  One year my college roommate and I decided to have an Aggie Halloween party.  We found a watermelon and carved it instead of a pumpkin.  So just an idea if you have the feeling you want to carve a fruit/vegetable but it's still to hot for pumpkins.  I wish I could find the pictures for you all to see it.

It's hard to imagine that Fumbs doesn't feel pretty darn special right about now.  You two are masters with the pumpkins.  Nice work and Fumble did a really nice job posing with his shrine!
