Coming to her new forever home this weekend!

This is our rescue currently named Cindy.  She's coming to her forever home this Sunday from Va.  She's supposed to be Newfie/Border Collie... we'll see when we pick her up! ;D

That is wonderful news ! I have a Newfie/border cross from rescue as well ! Moose is the best dog I've ever had , such a blessing to our family ! Good luck with your girl !

Smudge has the size, snout and ears of a Border Collie, coat of a Newf (which is in desperate need of a brushing/bathing), so far she's very quiet (I'm sure that will change once she finally figures out that she's here to stay) and the very gentle mouth of a newfie... when giving her something she is oh so gentle, almost takes it with her lips!  She is just the sweetest thing!!!!

When I saw that precious picture of Cindy, my heart lurched.  She looks so incredibly sweet, and so so sad.  Congrats to you, and thank you for rescuing her!  You are a hero!
