Great Pyrenees Pictures / Re: Help me name my new pup :)
« on: July 19, 2006, 01:34:01 pm »
I cannot think of an AKC reg name - that took the b/f and I about six weeks to think of - but if you get one with the heart marking you could call her Sweetheart.  You SAID you like lame  :D

Editted to say the puupies are adorable!

Big Paws are addictive.  We only have the one now but are currently plotting to get another one.   So, I vote yes!

Congrats on making the switch.  We switched Nola on raw more than 6 months ago.  We didn't notice any change in behavior - he is still the same lump he's always been.  Unlike Rhonda, we have Nola on the franken-prey model (no veggies) so Nola gets bone-in meats instead of the bone meal.  Like Rhonda, we do supplement with Gluc/Chond plus we added Omega 3s since Nola won't touch a fish.  Nola is also given organ meats and green tripe.

Do a search on this board for raw and you will find a number of links plus Yahoo has a number of raw groups that are extremely informative.

It's always great seeing another mastiff on the board.

Welcome, I am Eileen and have Nola an almost 17 month old English beast.  Needless to say, I love/adore/worship the maniac.

Name: Keeda
Age:5 months
Sex:F
Size:XL

Keeda, is a Merle/Harlequin Great Dane. She is 5 months old and has all her current shots except rabies and heartworm pill. I am in the middle of a divorce and I cannot find an apartment that will let me have her there. She has grown up around my two children who are 3 and 5 and has no aggression what so ever. She is housebroken and just a great friend. I really hate to have to find her a new home but I know I need to right now. She needs a home where there is someone with Great Dane knowledge, another dog would be great for her also. She gets along with cats too. She has to be an indoor dog at all times. Please give Keeda a forever home. Adoption Fee Required

Bullmastiff Discussions & Pictures / Re: Gossy Pictures!

Gossy is such a cutie.  I need a puppy.  I am slowly working on the boyfriend about our need for a new puppy.  I hope to fully convince him by next spring.

Congratulation s.  I love the name.

Maybe she thought the carpet was too dry.  I hope you have Nature's Miracle on hand.  Before long Gossy will prove she is a little genius.

I am picturing a very large body with a very small head.  Thanks for the visual, it is making me crack up.

Have you thought about removing Dakota's water dish in the evening, say at 8?  Or, if you already do, think about removing it a bit earlier.

71
I love the comparison pictures.  All your pups look like they are having so much fun in the water.

72
Sorry your anniversary didn't turn out quite as expected.  Just think of all the fun bee themed inside jokes you will now share.

What a sweet face.  Congratulation s.

I am going to sound like such a horrible person but we only served appetizers and many, many cocktails at Nola's shower.  I am amazed our breeder let us have him.  I am now hanging my head in shame.

Food Discussion & Information / Re: anyone got a tastey recipe

Have you thought about switching to a raw diet?  I have had Nola on a prey model raw diet since January and he is thriving.

Here are a few links on raw feeding
